DigiKey MedTech video series takes the pulse of evolving medical devices

The distributor’s latest series – it has also covered automation, Smart Cities and supply chains, for example – explores the evolving landscape of medical devices.

There are three videos in the series: “Holistic Health”, “Engineering Better Health Outcomes” and “Curing Tomorrow”.

Holistic Health

The first of three videos in the series – already live on the site – investigates the evolution of tech-assisted patient care and personal wellness. A new generation of patient care and personalised medical devices are using technology to provide better patient experiences, says DigiKey.

Health Outcomes

The second video explores how innovation happens behind the scenes, talking with industry leaders. Given the critical importance of patient safety and security, medical device engineers, designers and supply chains face more pressure than most, highlights the distributor.

Curing Tomorrow

Looking further ahead, the third and final video in the first season of the series examines “the big thinkers investigating the next medtech breakthrough”. For example, using AI-powered diagnostics and predictive analytics. Basically, how today’s innovations could help diagnose and treat illnesses in the future.
