One not to miss if you have any interest in Android development, Droidcon London 2022 takes place 27-28 October (Thursday – Friday) at the Business Design Centre in Islington (Angel).
As always there’s a wide range of topics, which include: What’s New in Android, Jetpack Compose, Advanced Kotlin, UI/UX/Design, the use of AI/ML and Open Source…
As well as the talks and keynotes, there’s an exhibition of related companies. In previous years these have included the likes of Zebrea, Spotify, bitwise, Fiit, Facebook and Starling and Monzo banks. Oh, yes, and Google.
The organisers write:
“For 13 years, developers from around the world have gathered at droidcon events to listen to keynote speakers, attend workshops, grow their skills and connect with other passionate Android developers.”
All sessions will be recorded and later published on www.droidcon.com to those who have registered.
You can see pictures from Droidcon London 2021 here.
Ticket information can be found here – they are now priced at £445 for both days.
This event is personally recommended – I’ve been going most years since 2012 – but sadly I can’t make it this year. So much to see and learn, on an Android theme.
