SturdeCam31 is a 3Mpixel camera built around Sony’s ISX031 sensor.

“Leveraging Sony’s sub-pixel HDR technology, SturdeCam31 has been tuned to provide HDR performance up to 120dB and LFM [LED flicker mitigation], thereby providing a solution for capturing dynamic scenes without motion artifact,” according to E-con. “This camera meets IP69K standards. It withstands harsh environmental conditions – protecting against dust, water, high pressure, high temperature, vibration and shock.”

Up to eight cameras can be synchronised through a GMSL2 interface. It supports coaxial cable up to 15m long and needs a Fakra connector.

The lens is bonded in position at the factory, and there is a wider angle option.

Operation is over 5 to 15V (typically 1.3W) and -40 to 85°C.

The enclosure measures 25 x 25mm and 40g.

The health of the sensor, microcontroller and GMSL link are monitored.
