Precision micro-power op-amp for automotive

Diodes has announced a single-channel version of its automotive-qualified AS2333Q dual precision micro-power op-amp.

Diodes AS333Q automotive op amp

AS333Q has an 8μV input offset (22μV max 25°C), consumes 17μA, and has “near zero-drift over time and temperature for high-accuracy signal conditioning in automotive electronic control units”, according to the company.

It has rail-to-rail inputs and output, with the common-mode range extending 100mV beyond the supply rails and its output able to get within 50mV of the rails.

200pF can be directly driven without oscillation in the most sensitive configuration (unity gain follower), with an output series resistor allowing higher values to be driven.

Operation is single-rail anywhere from 1.8 to 5.5V, and over -40 to +125°C.

Inside, chopper stabilisation is used to minimise input offset voltage, reduce 1/f noise, and decrease input crossover-distortion.

Low frequency input noise is said to be 1.1μVp-p (0.01 to 10Hz), gain bandwidth product 350kHz and drift 0.02μV/ºC (0.1 μV/°C -40 to +85°C, 0.2 μV/°C max -40 to +125°C).

The input typically have a bias of ±70pA (±400pA over full temperature range, ±140pA input offset), and 4kV HBM ESD (human body model electrostatic discharge) capability.

Packaging is 2.8 x 3mm SOT25 or 2.1 x 2.15mm SOT353.

The part is AEC-qualified and manufactured in IATF 16949 certified sites supporting PPAP documents.

Use is expected dc and low-frequency signal conditioning in automotive sensors, filters and pumps.
