Cornell Dubilier’s AEC-Q200-qualified EMI/RFI capacitors available from New Yorker Electronics

The AEC-200 Y2 class interference suppressor capacitors by Cornell Dubilier that meet a 2,000 hour THB (temperature, humidity and bias) life test are available from New Yorker Electronics. The MYH series were subjected to 2,000 hours THB testing at 85°C, 85% relative humidity at rated voltage, which is twice the industry standard test hours required to meet IEC 60834, Class III-B for THB. They also passed AEC-Q200 testing, including mechanical shock and vibration, thermal cycling, solvent resistance and solderability.

Capacitance values range from 0.001 to 1µF in 29 standard values, at 300Vac, 50/60Hz. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +110°C. The series also has UL, CSA and VDE approvals for safety and performance in Y2, line-to-ground applications.

The capacitors are for use in power supplies, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), charging systems, automated meter readings, motors and appliances. The Y2, line to ground capacitors filter electromagnetic noise and have been

Franchise distributor New Yorker Electronics supplies Cornell Dubilier’s full line of aluminium electrolytic capacitors, AC oil filled capacitors, DC oil filled capacitors, film capacitors, MICA capacitors, ultracapacitors and supercapacitors.
