MIL-STD-461 power EMI filters

Spectrum Control has introduced a family of modular power EMI filters for designs meeting MIL-STD-461.

52F1825 filters operate across -55° to 75°C and the “rugged design includes a convenient, environmentally sealed input interface that withstands moisture, dust, and other contaminants to ensure durability and longevity”, according to the company.

The models come with a 89 x 127mm footprint in a variety heights (45mm 1U, 67mm 1.5U or 89mm 2U), current capability (6, 16 or 25A) and filtering capacity.

The latter is increased by adding more internal stages of filtering, and graded by the company as ‘good’, ‘better’ or (diagram right) ‘best’ in its data sheet and ‘standard’, ‘superior’ and ‘elite’ on the product page.
