The 2023 Elektra Awards was a memorable evening that celebrated the international electronics industry and those who contributed to make it outstanding, writes Caroline Hayes.
Once again the Grosvenor House Hotel welcomed the elite of the electronics industry to the Electronics Weekly Elektra Awards on Wednesday 29 November. The attendees were welcomed by Electronics Weekly’s group editor, Clive Couldwell, who introduced the evening and reflected on the year through the lens of electronics innovation and achievements.
The host for the evening was comedian Paul Sinha, who has appeared on The Chase as well as writing and performing for BBC Radio 4, including The News Quiz, The Now Show and Loose Ends. He has hosted Paul Sinha’s Perfect Pub Quiz on Radio 4 and is a regular panellist on Round Britain Quiz. He delighted the room with his trademark mix of trivia knowledge and puns while introducing the award categories.
