Weller application-specific soldering kits

They collect together units selected from Weller’s WXsmart soldering component range.

All the kit part numbers are of the form T005345x699, and all of the kits include get Weller’s ‘WXsmart Station’ controller, a soldering iron, a stand for the iron and a bit holder.

In the case of kit T0053455699 (..5.. pictured right), the iron has a large bit aimed at what RS calls ‘heavy-duty soldering’, while kit ..4.. is similar, but has a soldering iron with two fine tips aimed at soldering very small components.

Kit ..7.. adds heated de-soldering tweezers with two sizes of fine tips to kit ..4.., and is aimed at reworking small components, while kit ..8.. is for reworking large components: adding chunky heated de-soldering tweezers to heavy-duty kit ..5…

Lastly, kit ..6.. (left) is a more general re-work stations.

It does not have de-soldering tweezers of any size, but instead has a hand-held de-soldering iron and a matching vacuum pump.
