The AD4130-8 adds digital features to a low power sigma delta ADC, which is in a smaller size package while keeping precision. The power consumption is improved by an order of magnitude compared to competitive devices, while adding functionality and features helps system designers to make designs recyclable and accelerates time to market. The AD4130-8 was designed to make a leap in power efficiency while maintaining precision and performance metrics.
For the judges, the ADC targets a large potential market with “a well specified device”. It was described as a highly innovative, low-power ADC, which will open up new applications.
