Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show preview: Displays for all reasons

Craft Data (M85) will show examples of its electronic displays, from alpha‑numeric and graphic LCD modules, character and graphic OLEDs to full colour TFT LCD including four‑wire resistive and projected capacitive touch versions, and high brightness sunlight viewing options.

It will also be showcasing its ‘stretched’ or ‘bar-type’ TFT LCD, with high brightness LED backlights, a wide operating temperature range and wide viewing angles.

There will also be system-on-module embedded devices, featuring the latest Arm Cortex-A7 microprocessor for industrial embedded applications.

There will also be printers from the company’s mobile thermal printer range incorporating both Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi wireless interfaces.

Visitors will be able to handle 2-inch, 3-inch and 4-inch versions from simple, low cost options for entry level printing requirements, to IP54 certified versions for hostile or rugged applications.

Transflective panels

More displays can be seen at Midas Displays (D165) including HDMI TFTs and new transflective panels for outdoor use.

Standard RGB and mono devices will be demonstrated alongside display enhancement products such as cover glass, multi‑touch capacitive and RMTS touchscreens.

There will also be e-paper displays, which maintain an image even when the power source is removed, and which complement traditional LCDs and OLEDs.

The company offers mono and RGB OLEDs, VA technology LCDs, high resolution graphic LCDs, and alphanumeric LCDs.

Technical assistance is dedicated to servicing product development and working closely with the customer for specific applications.
