Arm’s top CPU architect Mike Filippo has left the company after ten years to join Apple. At Arm he was responsible the development of  the Cortex-A76, A72, and A57, and Arm’s Hercules-AE automotive  CPU. Before joining Arm, Filippo worked for AMD and Intel. Double-digit decline for semis, says Jewell

The semiconductor market is headed for a double-digit decline this year,  after a Q1 fall of 15.6% from Q4, forecasts Bill Jewell’s Semiconductor Intelligence.
