Rapidus gets another $2bn

The Japanese government will provide Rapidus with an additional $1.94 billion to add to the $2.5 billion  it has already received, reports the Nikkei. Pinecone Systems of New York has raised $100 million in a funding round that values the company at $750 million. Investors were Andreessen Horowitz, Iconiq, Menlo Ventures and Wing Venture Capital.
