All hail DroidconUK - the UK's largest Android event for developers, which swept into London at the end of last week.

This year the event - the UK's largest Android event - takes place on 24-25 October 2019 (Thursday - Friday). The venue is the Business Design Centre in Islington.

Maybe you couldn't make Droidcon London, last week, or you did attended but missed a presentation that clashed on timing. Well, help is at hand.

Are you attending Droidcon London this year? If you can make it, I would strongly recommend the event if you are involved with Android at all.

There were a couple of Android Things talks at droidcon London 2017, as well as an exhibition stand devoted to Google's Android-based take on the IoT.

One of the interesting, and worthwhile, talks I went to at Droidcon London 2017 was 'Accessibility @ Scale', given by Mallika Potter of Pinterest.

Anyone seriously interested in Android, in the UK, should consider attending droidcon London. Yes, it's that time of year - it's coming around again.

The organisers of Droidcon London – which is described as the largest Android developer conference in Europe – are calling for papers. Once again Droidcon London proved an enjoyable and educational event. Taking place at the Business Design Centre near Angel it spanned two days (29-30 Oct) and a wide range of topics.
